My son and I are huge Lego fans so when I found out that we can create our own Minifigure at the Lego Store in Disney Springs, we had to try it! We also learned that this is the only operating Lego Minifigure Factory in the US at this time!
The Lego Store is located in the Marketplace section of Disney Springs. The Lime parking garage is the closest parking structure to the store.

Time to build our Minifigure
We arrived at the Lego Store at our reserved time and easily found the building area in the middle of the store. You can’t miss it with its colorful kiosk and Lego Minifigure Factory sign!
It was roped off to allow social distancing and we had the whole side to ourselves. First, we paid for our minifigurine at the cashiers before starting our customization. After doing so we headed to the computer screen to start designing our Minifigure’s outfit. There are many design options to choose from such as pre-designed clothing, freestyle painting, stickers, and added text.
After picking the clothing, my son placed some animal stickers on the outfit and drew a backpack on the backside. Once he had finalized our design, it was sent to the printer!
While our Minifigure prints we were instructed to select the 4 accessories including 1 head, 1 leg, 1 hair or hat, and 1 miscellaneous item.
The Minifigure takes about 5 minutes to print and then requires 2 minutes in a drawer to dry. Our MiniFigure turned out so cute and came with a block with my son’s name on it!
This was such a creative, fun, and affordable activity and I highly recommend it for any Lego fans!
