The large and beautiful gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian is now open until Jan 1, 2024! It’s made from over 10,000 pieces of gingerbread, has 24 hidden Mickeys on it and houses a treat shop inside. There you can find a variety of treats from gingerbread shingles to peppermint bark to cake pops and even a miniature gingerbread house!

Entrance to Disney’s Beach Club Villas
Our first stay of 2021 at Disney’s Beach Club Villas in a Deluxe Studio was the perfect start the year!
Disney’s Beach Club is one of our favorite resorts for many reasons including its proximity to Epcot and Stormalong Bay. If you’re not familiar with Stormalong Bay, it is in my opinion the best pool on Disney Property. It stretches between the Yacht Club to the Beach club and in addition to the pools, has a lazy river, a 150 feet tall slide and a sand bar!

Beach Club Villas
Disney’s Beach Club Villas is located in another building across from the main Beach Club Resort. It has its own lobby, seating area and guest service desk.

We are Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members and booked our room with our points but anyone can book DVC villas with cash.
Deluxe Studio
This deluxe studio can sleep 5 people and comes with a kitchenette! When you walk in you will first see the kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and you’ll find paper plates, cups and plastic utensils in the drawers.
Love the small toiletries so I can take them home
Located on the other side is the bathroom. The large sink counter provides ample surface space as well as storage underneath. There is also a closet next to the sink containing an ironing board, vacuum, wall safe and more storage. The bathroom was clean and simple. I was most excited about the travel size toiletries because I love being able to take my leftovers home.
Now let’s move on to the bedroom area! It has a queen size bed, a double size sleeper sofa and a single pull-down bed located below the TV.

My kids love the pull-down bed and its genius because it serves two purposes of being the table and a bed!
There is also storage along-side the wall beside the pull-down bed and inside the coffee table.
We had a view of the woods and even Tower of Terror from our balcony!
