The details
On Star Wars Day at Sea, the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique takes a break from princess makeovers to transform guest into their favorite Star Wars characters. Makeovers are available for both children (priced at $124.99) and adults (priced at $79.99). Reservations are required and can be made online before sailing or once you are aboard your Disney Cruise.
The Galactic Transformation
We made reservations for 9:30 am so Colton could be transformed before any of our meet and greets. Upon arriving at the Boutique we immediately noticed that all the pixie dust and tiaras had disappeared and in its places were fighter helmets and lightsabers. After reviewing his options, Colton chose to go with the Light Side as Poe Dameron. I found the costume to be very good quality. After getting fitted, he sat down in a makeover chair to complete the transformation with Poe’s scar and goatee.
You also receive a name tag translated into Aurebash and an exclusive Star Wars Day at Sea backpack.
The entire process lasted around 20-30 minutes and soon Colton was ready to battle the Empire!
Final Thoughts
Similar to the Princess Makeovers, this was a pricy experience. However, we felt it was worth the price since there aren’t a lot of costumes transformation opportunities for boys. And it was also a perfect chance for Colton to fully experience Star Wars Day at Sea.
