A look inside a one-bedroom villa at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
Disney’s Riviera Resort is our 3rd Disney Vacation Club (DVC) home resort. We actually added on during a Disney Cruise before ever seeing the resort or its rooms and it was the best decision ever! This resort is gorgeous with French and Italian Riviera inspiration from Walt and Lillian’s travels and we love its Skyliner routes to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
When we first walked into the room, the first thing I noticed was the openness and largeness of the space. It is 813 square feet and can sleep 5.
It has an open full kitchen with a full-size fridge, oven, dishwasher and everything we’ll need to prepare meals there.
Opposite of the kitchen is the dining area with a built in booth bench and chairs. I love the Remy artwork above the seating.
The living area is also spacious with many seating options for everyone. Instead of the usual pull out sofa found in other DVC resorts, this resort has one that converts to a queen size murphy bed! I much prefer the murphy bed because it eliminates the need to remove cushions when converting it to the bed.
There is also another single murphy bed under the TV which allows 3 people to sleep in the living room area. I, however forgot to take a picture of it! But it had the cutest Mickey and Pluto relaxing on a balcony in black and white.
Just off of the living area is the master bedroom! It was a large room with a king size bed, seating area, a large drawer, tables and a good size walk in closet.
The bathrooms is next, and they are stunning as well as functional. Pocket doors divide the large bathroom into two different areas. The area closer to the bedroom has a large jacuzzi tub and a large sink area.
The other section has a large shower (with a bench and 2 shower heads), toilet and another sink area.
Heading back to the foyer of the room, there are 2 closets. One of them is for storage and inside you can find a vacuum, ironing board, iron and extra blankets/pillows.
The other closet houses the washer and dryer unit. One of my favorite things about staying in a one-bedroom villa or higher is the ability to do laundry in our room.
We had such a great stay at this one-bedroom villa at Disney’s Riviera Resort and can’t wait for our next stay here.
