This is an overview of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays 2020 cookie stroll including details, location, and review of each cookie!
I can’t believe that I have never completed an EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays cookie stroll before! It’s such a fun/tasty activity and I thought the boys would really enjoy it this year.
What is the Festival of the Holidays Cookie Stroll?
The cookie stroll is a fun activity where you purchase any 5 cookies from the Holiday Cookie Stroll locations and collect stamps for each cookie. After collecting 5 stamps in your festival passport, return to Holiday Sweets and Treats for a complimentary cookie prize!
Cost: $12.50 (each cookie cost $2.50)
Tips: You don’t have to purchase each of the 5 cookies to complete the stroll. If you really like a few, you can purchase more of those to make up your 5 cookies/stamps.
Let’s talk about the cookies!
I will be ranking them from my favorite to least favorite.
#1: Linzer Cookie
Location: Bavaria Holiday Kitchen, Germany
Review: I bought 2 of these cookies because it just looked so delicious and I’m so glad I did because I did not want to share with my kids. It was flaky, sweet and I loved the fruity taste.
#2: Peppermint Pinwheel Cookie
Location: Yukon Holiday Kitchen, Canada
Review: I’m a huge fan of peppermint so was excited to try this one. It was crunchy with a refreshing peppermint flavor and fun sprinkles!
#3: Chocolate Crinkle Cookie
Location: American Holiday Table
Review: I had heard great reviews about this cookie and was excited to try my first crinkle cookie. My first cookie was honestly not good, it was doughy with a bitter chocolate taste. I went back another day to give it another try and I’m so glad I did. I must have gotten a bad batch with the first cookie because my second one was soft, chewy with perfect chocolate taste.
#4: Gingerbread Cookie
Location: Festival Favorites, World Showplace Events Pavilion
Review: I love gingerbread cookies and my favorite one is the Gingerbread Mickey from Disneyland. So my expectations were set pretty high for this one. The flavor was good but the cookie wasn’t as soft as I wanted. The kids did enjoy eating his buttons.
#4: Black and White Cookie
Location: L’Chaim! Holiday Kitchen
Review: First impressions, this cookie was huge! I think it was the biggest cookie out of the 5. It was soft however it had a little too much icing which made it very sweet. Definitely would need a glass of milk with that one.
Completion cookie: Minnie Peppermint Cookie
After we received our 5 stamps in our festival passport, we headed to Holiday Sweets and Treats for our complimentary cookie. There is a window just for the completion cookie so you don’t have to wait in the regular booth line. This one came packaged so you can take it home if you’re too full of the stroll. I thought it was super cute and enjoyed it a lot. If I was including this one in my ranking, it would fall under the Peppermint Pinwheel as #3. What can I say? I love all things peppermint!
