Ghost Mickey and Minnie Candy Pouches

October 16, 2020

Halloween at Disney is my favorite time of year! I just love all things Mickey/Minnie pumpkin and ghosts. I was inspired by Disney Parks Blog’s DYI Jack and Sally candy pouches and decided to create my own. Here is how I made my Ghost Mickey and Minnie Candy Pouches!

Supplies

Paper or Cardstock (for templates)
Felt (white, back)
Sticky-Back Stiffened Felt Sheets (orange, white)
Candy
Needle/thread or sewing machine

I used white and orange sticky back felt sheets for the face and bow. Regular white and black felt for the actual pouch.

Minnie’s Bow: cut in orange

Cut out the felt pieces

You will need 3 pieces to make each pouch. One full silhouette in white for the back, another full silhouette in black for the middle, and the faces in white. For Minnie, you will need orange for her bow.

Use the templates to cut out the felt pieces

Stick/glue the face pieces to the black felt

I used the sticky-back stiffened felt sheets for the face and bow to stick them to the black silhouette. If you don’t have sticky-back felt, you can use hot glue instead.

Sew the edges to create the candy pouches

I used a sewing machine to sew the edges leaving an opening on the top for the candy. You can also use a needle with thread or hot glue.

Can’t wait to see your own Ghost Mickey and Minnie candy pouches! Feel free to send them to me or tag me on Instagram!

The Face Templates for Ghost Mickey is still just the black full silhouette. Any chance you have the white layer for Ghost Mickey?
